The project developed a program to offer support to a young boy and provide a safe open environment where he was supported by older males to be involved in activities of interest at the Men’s Shed.

The project has led to enhanced social and emotional development and self-esteem for the young boy, stronger networks and collaborative partnerships between the stakeholders who developed the program and the development of a scaffolded model that could be rolled out elsewhere.

This great example of organisations working together to achieve a fantastic result is what Community is all about.  Congratulations everyone!
